Information Technology is an entry-level Higher Education qualification in the field of Computer Sciences and Information Technology. The purpose of this qualification is to prepare students for a career in the field of Information Systems support or to enable them to proceed to higher levels of education in Information Technology. The qualification is primarily industry orientated and will provide students with basic knowledge, and cognitive and conceptual tools to advance their knowledge of IT coupled with interpersonal and business skills.
