The Corporate sector” today in Africa is going through a whirlwind of changes regarding an attitudinal change in employees and the employers. The transition of technology and consumer anticipation have placed pressure on business organisations requiring them to adapting to these rapid changes. Colleges are required to produce future managers and IT professionals who can think logically, make decisions and be able to act in any cultural environment. Now, the role of professionals is increasingly becoming that of leaders and facilitators.
In 2021 The team at Africa School of Technology took on the challenge of building the first Humanoid in the country. Being the first institution to create a life-size robot we weren’t short of challenges. Through innovation and perseverance, the robot was completed on the 5th of July and unveiled on the 8th of July at our 5-year anniversary gala dinner. Taking on this challenge was exciting and daunting, it tested the team’s ability and cemented the fact that as children of Africa we can achieve anything we put our minds to. Every piece was 3D printed and assembled, right here!
